How Fuego began
At Fuego Latin Flavor, we believe great food has a way of bringing people together. Some of life's best conversations happen around a table, some of the best memories are made over a shared meal, and nothing brings us more joy than serving food that makes people feel welcomed, connected, and cared for.
Sandra and I met when we were young, and in our early years together shared a dream and desire of opening a food business together. Over the years, our cultures blended beautifully—I'm Puerto Rican and Sandra is Portuguese—and somewhere along the way, she fell in love with preparing traditional Puerto Rican dishes. From arroz con gandules con pernil to perfectly handcrafted empanadas, our kitchen became a place where family recipes, laughter, and unforgettable flavors came together.
It wasn't long before friends and family began asking for our empanadas again and again. We realized we weren't just making food—we were creating experiences that brought people together. That's when Fuego Latin Flavor was born.
Today, every empanada we make is handcrafted with the same care, quality, and passion that first inspired this dream. We honor authentic Latin flavors while adding our own creative twist, offering everything from timeless classics to unique specialty creations that keep people coming back for more.
